Weber County: old bones and new growth
Weber County gives a contractor both ends of the spectrum — Ogden's century-old housing stock that rewards careful remodeling, and the fast growth in North Ogden, Pleasant View, Roy, and West Haven where roofs, additions, and garages are in constant demand. We serve all of it, plus the Ogden Valley over the divide, with free written estimates.
Remodeling Ogden’s historic stock
Ogden has some of the oldest housing in Utah — bungalows and four-squares from the early 1900s in Jefferson, Eccles, and the East Bench. Remodeling them well means respecting what’s there (plaster, trim, proportions) while replacing what’s dangerous (knob-and-tube wiring, galvanized supply lines, undersized panels). A remodel bid that doesn’t mention those isn’t a cheaper bid — it’s an incomplete one.
The growth belt
North Ogden, Pleasant View, Plain City, and West Haven are building fast, and the 1990s-era neighborhoods behind them are hitting roof-replacement age. That’s our fast lane: most full roof replacements run 2–4 days on site, scheduled around Weber’s wind and weather windows.
The Ogden Valley and Powder Mountain
Over the divide, Huntsville, Eden, and Liberty are genuine mountain building — and we’ve done it, not just quoted it. We’ve built custom homes in Huntsville and on Powder Mountain, where snow load, access, and winter scheduling stop being footnotes and become the project plan. If you’re building or remodeling in the valley, you want a contractor who has already worked at that elevation.
FAQ
Common questions
Do you work on Ogden's older homes?
Yes — and we like them. Pre-war homes have real materials worth saving, but they hide old wiring, plumbing, and framing surprises. We open the estimate conversation with that honesty, so the budget has room for what the walls reveal.
Do you cover the Ogden Valley — Eden, Huntsville, Liberty?
Yes — and it is proven ground for us: we have built custom homes in Huntsville and up on Powder Mountain. The valley builds like mountain country — heavier snow loads, cabin and view-lot construction — and it gets the same written-estimate process.
What about Roy, Riverdale, West Haven, and Hooper?
All in range. The west-side cities are where much of the county's newer growth is, and roof replacements and garages are steady work there.
