Bathroom remodels in weeks, not months
Most bathroom remodels: 2–4 weeks start to finish
Most bathroom remodels we take on run 2–4 weeks from demo to done — because every fixture, tile, and vanity is ordered and on hand before we open a wall. One crew, a written schedule you can hold us to, and a bathroom you are not sharing with a construction site for half a year. Serving the Wasatch Front and Back, Salt Lake City to Brigham City.
Your timeline is confirmed in your written estimate before work starts.
The order-first method
The difference between a 3-week bathroom and a 3-month bathroom is almost never the crew — it’s the sequence. Here’s ours:
- Walk the space, write the estimate. Scope, price, and schedule in writing. We flag the judgment calls (move the drain? reroute a vent?) up front, not mid-demo.
- Selections, then orders. Tile, fixtures, vanity, glass — chosen and ordered. Nothing happens to your house during this stage.
- Everything arrives, then demo. Once every item is physically in hand, demo starts. From this point the crew works straight through: rough-in → waterproofing → tile → fixtures → paint and trim.
- Punch list and walkthrough. We walk it with you, fix what’s on the list, and leave you a clean, finished bathroom.
What “done right” means behind the tile
Bathrooms fail from water, not from age. The parts you’ll never see are the parts we’re pickiest about: proper waterproofing membranes in wet areas, sloped pans, sealed penetrations, and ventilation that actually moves air. Pretty tile over bad waterproofing is a countdown timer — we don’t do it.
Small bathroom, honest answer
Not every bath needs a gut job. If new surfaces, a vanity, and lighting get you what you want, we’ll say so — a lighter scope is faster, cheaper, and still transforms the room. When something structural or moisture-damaged turns up, you’ll see photos and options, not a surprise invoice.
FAQ
Common questions
How can a bathroom remodel take only 2–4 weeks?
Because nothing is demoed until everything is on hand. The weeks-long bathroom horror stories usually come from opening walls first and ordering materials second. We finalize selections, receive every item, then schedule demo — so the crew works continuously instead of waiting on deliveries.
What is included in a full bathroom remodel?
Typically demo, plumbing and electrical rough-in changes, waterproofing, tile or surround, tub or shower, vanity and top, toilet, lighting, fan, paint, and trim. Your written estimate itemizes exactly what is and is not included.
Can you do a tub-to-shower conversion?
Yes — it is one of the most common projects we see, and it usually lands at the faster end of the 2–4 week range.
Will I be without a bathroom the whole time?
The bathroom under construction is out of service, so most families plan around a second bath. If it is your only bathroom, tell us up front — we sequence the work to keep the toilet functional as long as possible.
What does a bathroom remodel cost?
It varies with scope and finishes more than any other factor — a refresh and a full gut with custom tile are different projects. We give you a free written, itemized estimate so you can see exactly where the money goes and adjust scope before work starts.
