What we believe about construction

Most construction horror stories aren't about bad carpentry — they're about bad process. Vague bids, verbal changes, materials ordered late, nobody clearly responsible. We built this company around closing those gaps:

• Everything in writing. Scope, price, timeline, and any mid-project change — priced and approved on paper before it happens.
• Materials before demolition. We don't open your roof, wall, or bathroom until what's needed to close it is on hand. It's the whole secret behind why most of our roofs run 2–4 days and most of our bathrooms 2–4 weeks.
• Honest answers over easy ones. If a repair beats a replacement, or your project fits a different contractor better, we'll say so. One honest "no" is worth more than a bad job.

The track record

The range is wider than most people expect from a local GC. Recent Square One projects include custom homes in Huntsville and on Powder Mountain — some of the snowiest buildable ground in Utah — red-iron airplane hangars at the Brigham City airport, built multilevel with mezzanines on major engineered footings, and full-home remodels in Logan. Mountain snow loads, wide-span red iron, and whole-house remodels are three very different problems, and having built all three is exactly what "general contractor" is supposed to mean. The range runs the other way too — down to a well-built custom deck right here in Farmington.

We're a Utah licensed general contractor headquartered in Farmington, Davis County — B100 General Building license #11678454-5501, held by Adam Overholser as qualifier and active since 2020, with the insurance Utah requires to keep it that way.
